v2026.09.04 — Worked API Examples

The previous entry landed the Little Office. This one is mostly about being able to find any of it.

Added

• Worked API examples — six pages, one per capability, each carrying a real request, the response it returns, and that same response set as a person would read it: Bible, Summa Theologiae, saints, prayers, liturgical calendar and church search
• The altar at torchandlily.com now says what it is, on both surfaces, and where to report an error

Changed

• The altar sets Latin and English side by side in the office and the noonday prayer — stanza facing stanza, as a hand missal does. Where the two tongues do not divide into the same number of stanzas it declines to face them rather than guessing an alignment
• The e-reader surface interleaves the same stanzas within its one column
• The office section names the book it comes from, and hymns are named — Ave, maris stella was labelled only “Hymn”
• The timezone chooser names standard time zones — Central Daylight Time — Chicago — ordered west to east, instead of bare city names sorted alphabetically

Fixed

• The altar’s robots.txt permitted every route but /e. An Allow rule restricts nothing on its own; the file now disallows by default and re-opens the apex alone
• This site’s sitemap no longer advertises pages that exist for logged-in people
